His comments have angered Shiv Sena & their supremo Bal Thackeray. Shiv Sena burnt Effigies of King Khan in Mumbai and have asked him to seek apology. But Srk is in no mood to say sorry. 

Shiv Sena activists have warned theater owners in Mumbai not to screen the latest movie of Shahrukh Khan- My Name is Khan. The Film is due to release on 12th February, 2010.

As per Shahrukh Khan “I have no idea what I am supposed to apologise for.”

“So many people’s futures rely on (My Name is Khan). I just request everybody to leave the film alone and deal with what I have said as an individual.”

“I am sorry to director Karan Johal and actress Kajol. I’m also immensely sorry to all the other business partners that – because of what I say and believe in – the film and their work is going to be affected. I have no idea how to change that.”

Now the latest from the rumor mill is that Karan Johar is pondering over the idea of creating a flick based on Shahrukh & Gauri’ Love Story.

As per the latest reports, Karan is very much interested in doing a film based on couple’s romance that eventually lead to their marriage.

According to Karan, their story has all what it needs for a Bollywood Blockbuster. But Karan is not looking to cast Srk in this idea of his. He would like to have Srk’s son Aryan do this role after few years.

Well this could be a good debut film for Srk’s son Aryan.

These days the ace director is hosting a chat show ‘Tere Mere Beach Mein’ on Star TV. She wants to play peace-maker & end this animosity between the two Khan’s of Bollywood who were very close pals sometime back.

“I wish I could bridge the gap. I love both of them. It’s (the fight) getting longer now,” Farah said.

She feels that Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan have dragged this fight a lot now. Just few days back Salman called Shahrukh as a very ” insecure person”.

Farah Khan started her new show ‘Tere Mere Beach Mein’ with Salman Khan and his mother as the star guests.

There are reports that Farah will be ending the show with Shahrukh Khan.

Just a few days back, he had taken a take a dig at Shahrukh Khan by calling his airport detention in USA as ‘routine checking’.

As per the latest reports, Sallu has termed Shahrukh as a very ” insecure person “.

In one of his interviews with the media Salman said the if Shahrukh could get rid of his insecurity, he would become a nice guy.

Salma further added that they were good friends as both of them started their career at the same time. But with increase in fame and money Shahrukh’s insecurities increased. Now, he can not bear success of people around him and is very insecure from inside.

It will be interesting to see king khan’s reaction to this ” insecurity ” issue.

This sounds like a delicious treat for SRK fans who have been waiting to see their superstar this year in this forthcoming film. This will also be the longest guest appearance by any Indian Star in a Film. So, this is one new record in srk’s cap.

SRK had earlier signed the film because of his old friendship with producer Vivek Vaswani. Later on there were rumours that Srk is upset about his long role in Dulha Mil Gaya.

Vivek Vaswani said, “We have not added or subtracted any scenes with SRK. We have shot exactly what was narrated to him. He has about 17 scenes and three songs, and among the three, one is his entry sequence. We still have to shoot the music video with him with the entire cast. However, Dulha Mil Gaya is not a professional assignment for SRK. He has done it as a favour to a friend, hence he is getting billed in a guest appearance as that’s the ethical thing to do. Had he charged me, then the equation would have been that of a producer and actor.”

He further added, “In Damini, Sunny Deol makes his entry quite late in the film but he is as good as the hero Rishi Kapoor. Similarly, SRK enters the film in the second half but has a very powerful role. SRK’s role is wonderful and he has given an extraordinary performance. His role has been written such that he fits perfectly in the ensemble cast. His fans won’t be disappointed at all. SRK will also be a part of the publicity but only within the parameters of his role and as befits a star of his stature. But I will never market the film as an SRK film as everyone has equally powerful roles.”

Arnold has invited King Khan for a dinner at Washington DC on September 20.

Shahrukh Khan back in Mumbai

Arnold came to know about Srk’s humiliation in Newark Airport in New Jersey and sent this invitation as a damage control exercise. It is still not known that whether Srk has accepted this invitation or not.

King Khan returned from USA yesterday and had a press conference at his bunglow “Mannat” in Mumbai.

“I am scared of the authorities and rules, so I try to follow the rules of the country I travel to. Whenever I am in America, I have to report at least two hours in advance while travelling within the country for security reasons — they ask me to take off my clothes and shoes, and I do that. But I never experienced this kind of treatment,” Khan said.
